Hello boys and girls.😀 I hope you are all keeping well. If you have been doing any of the GAA skills we learned in our PE classes, could you send little videos of yourself doing that  to our school email info@stpandstbps.ballycastle.ni.sch.uk

Thank you. I think our class favourites were, playing rounders while the rest of the class did lots of jumping, hopping, star jumps, skipping, running on the spot, press ups etc.

Look forward to seeing them.😀Mrs McAuley.

Advice and Guidance for Parents during the School Closure 2020

We have received the following guidance from the ETI (Education and Training Inspectorate) regarding learning at home during the school closure.  The digital approach through the online environment and multi-sensory activities is being advocated by the ETI over pencil and paper work.  You will see that some of these websites may already be on the list given out for your class and there are some others for you to explore.  There are also many activities which particularly lend themselves to the home environment, taking the pressure off parents who feel they need to recreate a mini classroom at home – you will be relieved to know, you don’t!

Over the next couple of days I will put up details of what the children could be studying at home while they are away from school. I have already put up some useful websites for them to access. The children could also watch "Spywatch," which is a programme based on refugees in WW2. This can be accessed through "YouTube." The children are ready to go on to Episode 5.

We have been making and drawing Owls as we are learning about Nocturnal animals in our topic "Day and Night." We got our art inspiration from reading the book "Baby Owls."
