We are learning about The Forest. On Wednesday 26th September we visited Ballycastle Forest with the Integrated school. We had a great morning learning about trees, leaves, animals and how to look after our environment. Our leader was called Daniel he was so knowledgeable!! We can't wait until we to go back again.
Then we had another eventful session today when Mr Mc Caughan called into our school to teach us all about hedgehogs, foxes and badgers. He has a special camera which he sets up for the night time in which he observed many animals in Ballycastle Forest. He saw a deer!!! If we are really quiet on our next visit to the forest WE might see a deer too. FINGERS CROSSED.
