October Weather
Our topic for October was the Weather
We loved this topic as there was so much to explore and investigate including rainbows/umbrellas/windsocks and finding ways to stop our aprons blowing away. We learned some new rhymes, weather and action songs. We discussed the different clothes we wear and to remember to put on our waterproofs when it is raining. We even took turns at being weather forecasters, changing our weather chart and recorded the amount of rain that fell each day in the puddles that formed on our playground. We are becoming Fantastic Food Explorers - for our snack-time we our trying some healthy snacks including melon, pear, apple, orange, strawberry, banana and carrot.
