Seesaw class
Following recent advice on the current situation of the pandemic, including increasing levels of transmission and number of cases, The Minister for Education in Northern Ireland, Peter Weir MLA has revised his guidance to all schools. The guidance now states that effective of 7th January 2021. All mainstream education providers, including pre-school education (Nursery) settings, primary and post primary schools are required to provide remote learning at home to their pupils rather than face to face teaching in school, until the half term break in the middle of February.
As a result of this we will be moving to remote learning using Seesaw Class.
Please follow the instructions detailed below to access Seesaw at home via a Google account or email address.
Step 1 Open the Seesaw Class app on iOS or Android.
Alternatively go to app.seesaw.me on any computer in Chrome or Firefox browser.
Step 2 Choose I'm a student
Step 3 Type in this code to join our class. Please only use this code once.
This New code will now expire on 27 January 2021 Code: DHSV WVJF
We finished our Autumn term on a high - what an eventful term it has been! The Nursery children made all of the staff extremely proud, performing in their virtual Christmas Concert. To perform in front of Santa, his elves and a small, select but socially distanced audience of school staff can be daunting at any age but to do this at only 3 or 4 years old is an incredible achievement. The children were very excited to have their photo taken with Santa and receive a letter and little gift from him.
