We had lots of fun coming up to Halloween in Nursery with our friends. We enjoyed dressing up and using our imaginations to create stories, we developed our fine motor skills and hand eye coordination hammering golf tees into pumpkins. We got creative painting pumpkins, both on paper and the pumpkins themselves! After we had painted the pumpkins we scooped them out to make pumpkin soup and witch’s brew!
The children in both classes have had a very busy first half term settling into Nursery; we have been making new friends, learning new routines, enjoying new experiences and exploring and experimenting with new materials. We have loved listening to stories and songs about Autumn and playing with the Autumn treasures we all brought in from home, especially the pine cones and conkers.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
