Vision and Values
Our vision and values sit at the heart of everything we do. They shape our teaching and learning, guide our relationships, and create an environment where pupils grow into confident, well‑behaved, happy learners and responsible citizens.
Over the past 12 months, we have listened carefully to our pupils, staff, parents, and governors to shape a renewed Vision and set of Values that truly reflect who we are today—and who we aspire to be in the future. These principles capture the ethos of our school and will continue to guide us as we move forward together.
“Belong, Believe, Achieve – Making a Difference Together!”
Our school’s vision has four core principles that guide all we strive to achieve.
Vision Statement
At St Patrick's and St Brigid's Primary School, we strive to create a welcoming, safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where every child is valued, celebrated, and encouraged to achieve their full potential. ‘Belong’ - We strive to create an inclusive and high-quality learning environment that promotes curiosity, creativity and resilience, embedding inclusive practices that ensure every child feels safe, valued and supported.
‘Believe’ - We nurture confidence and faith in each child’s ability, promoting faith-based values and respect for diversity in all aspects of school life.
‘Achieve’ - We prepare our pupils with the skills, knowledge and attitudes needed to thrive in a changing world and to contribute positively to society.
‘Making a Difference Together’ - We work together with our whole school community to make a positive difference, preparing pupils with the skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed to thrive in a changing world and contribute positively to society.
