P7 Archaeology Field Trip to Cushendall
During this field trip students got to work with Queens University Belfast to examine an actual archaeological investigation. The students got to learn the skills required to survey a site, dig to find evidence, look after themselves in a field site in the outdoor environment and find out about the history of their local area.
The Eggsperiment !
P 7 students had to design a helmet to protect an egg from falling objects. As part of their World Around Us topic they are learning about the brain, how we learn and how we can become more effective learners. The unit also has an important safety message centred around safety and the importance of wearing helmets.
