A fond farewell to Mary 💐
Today we said a fond farewell to a truly special lady who has dedicated so much of her life to our school. Mary Watterson has given 30 wonderful years to the children of Ballycastle, touching countless hearts along the way and caring for each child as if they were her own.
Mary had an incredible gift—she greeted every child by their first name, a reflection of her genuine care and remarkable memory.
Today, we shared many cherished memories from past staff and pupils. We even had a surprise visit from our very own fireman, which certainly brought a big smile to Mary’s face 🧑🚒
We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Mary for her unwavering commitment and dedication to our school. We wish her every happiness as she begins this exciting new chapter in her retirement.
