  • Eco School Council, Poetry Week winners and Accelerated Reading Top Achievers

    Congratulations to our new EcoSchool Council who received their badges at assembly this afternoon.

    We look forward to seeing all the exciting work these boys and girls are going to lead in our school this year.

    We also had winners of our National Poetry Day competition, using the theme of Choice.

    And finally in Assembly today, we celebrated the Accelerated Reading top achievers for this week.

  • Tesco's Community Outreach

    We were delighted to have a visit from Tesco's Community Outreach team on Monday.

    They spent the morning painting our benches in the garden area to protect them ahead of the incoming winter months.

    St. Patrick's and St. Brigid's celebrate another Ditch the Dark Day.  Well done everyone - try to stay bright, seen and safe all winter.

  • Christmas Jumper Day 2019

    On Friday 13th December 2019, we had our annual Christmas Jumper Day for Concern.  We raised £500.34.  At this time of the year the government doubles all the money raised for Concern, so we are sending more than £1000 to help others.

  • A visit from The Mageean Cup Winners

    We were delighted to welcome back our past pupils this morning and congratulate them on their great efforts last Friday as they collected the Mageean Cup.  They encouraged our pupils to get involved in all the school and club activities.  Well done boys!
  • National Poetry Day

    The theme for this year's National Poetry Day was Speak your own Truth.  Poems were written on many different themes and using language styles including idioms, rhyme and even a limerick from Mrs.Kennedy.  Well done to the winners.
