Today pupils from primary 6 and primary 7 attended the Tony McGrath Tournament in Dunloy. The boys played teams from Co. Antrim and Co. Derry. The boys were brilliant.

A huge thank you to Zak Moradi for visiting our Primary 6 and 7 pupils to share his inspiring documentary and life story. From being born in a refugee camp in Iraq to becoming a Leitrim hurling star, Zak’s journey captivated the children and encouraged important discussions around identity, inclusion and belonging. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the question-and-answer session and were inspired by Zak’s honesty, resilience and achievements. Thank you, Zak, for such a memorable and thought-provoking visit. 💙💛
